Reimagining the Boundaries of Print
A bold transformation of a textbook into a dynamic visual experience.
Breaking the Grid: A New Approach to Book Design
A Tactile Silk-Screened Piece
The Cover
A dynamic, textural, silk-screened poster that doubles as a book cover—blurring the line between print and tactile experience. Designed to engage the senses, this multipurpose piece invites viewers to explore layers of meaning through touch, composition, and form, transforming a traditional book cover into an interactive work of art.
The LAAH Book Re-Design takes a traditional academic book and reconstructs it into an expressive, visually engaging format. Through experimental layouts, abstract compositions, and a layered design approach, this project challenges how we interact with printed materials—turning static content into an immersive experience.
This project was a hands-on process that began with scanning and digitizing the original book’s content. By reworking the imagery, restructuring the layouts, and integrating new graphic elements, the book evolved into a multi-dimensional reading experience. Using a mix of graphic abstraction, unconventional typography, and layered compositions, this redesign pushes the boundaries of print, inviting the reader to engage with the content in a more dynamic and interpretative way. The final result is a book that doesn’t just present information—it transforms it into an interactive and artistic narrative.

“This project is a redesign of an old art book I discovered—one that didn’t fully honor the artist’s work. I wanted to change that. In my reimagined version, I chose to focus on the details, much like how we examine artwork up close in a museum. Every image is intentionally zoomed in to an extreme, allowing viewers to experience the textures, strokes, and nuances that might otherwise go unnoticed.”
