Lead Designer and Strategic Creative Leader, Transforming Brands through User-Focused Design and Experience
Hi, I’m Alex Creamer, a Lead Designer and freelance Creative Director who thrives at the intersection of strategy and storytelling. With a career shaped by hands-on leadership and global experiences, I craft impactful, user-focused designs that drive results and solve problems effectively.
Earning my MFA in Design from Boston University was a defining moment. My time living and studying in Florence, Italy, added a deeper dimension to my work. Weekends spent exploring museums and photographing the intricate details of architecture and art refined my design perspective. Earning a diploma in jewelry design from L’Arti Orafe instilled a love for precision and craftsmanship that continues to influence my process.
My professional journey has taken me from reimagining the branding for Santander Select—a premium product for the bank’s high-end customers—across 600+ branches to designing successful email campaigns for TJX Companies (HomeSense and HomeGoods) and Amazon partnerships.
One standout campaign for Amazon, in collaboration with Wyze, saw remarkable engagement and contributed to a rapid sellout of featured products.
Whether leading branding initiatives, creating digital and print experiences, or building user-centered websites and campaigns, I approach my work with a structured and results-driven perspective—always focusing on the goals and outcomes.
Now based in Rhode Island, I’ve discovered a love for surfing along Newport’s beaches. The balance and movement found in the ocean inspire the clarity and creativity I bring to my designs.
As the daughter of immigrants and the first in my family to earn an MFA, I approach every challenge with resilience, curiosity, and a commitment to solving problems through thoughtful design.
I believe in the power of design to not only deliver solutions but also tell meaningful stories that connect people and drive impact.
